How to Play PokeSurvivor

PokeSurvivor is an unofficial Pokémon survival fan game. Choose a partner, move through incoming waves, and let its equipped moves attack automatically. Collect experience and make level-up choices to shape each run. This guide covers the hosted build on this site.

FIRST RUN

Start a run in four steps

The first goal is to stay mobile long enough to collect experience and build a move set that can clear a path.

  1. 01

    Choose a Pokémon partner

Pick a partner in the game menu and start a run. Its type and available moves give you a starting point for your build.

  2. 02

    Keep moving through open space

Use WASD or the arrow keys on a keyboard. On a touchscreen, drag in the play area to steer. Your equipped moves attack automatically.

  3. 03

    Collect experience safely

Move through experience drops when there is a clear route. Avoid crossing a dense group just to reach one distant pickup.

  4. 04

    Choose a level-up card

When you level up, compare the available moves and stat boosts. Choose what helps with the enemies and space you have right now.

INPUT GUIDE

Attacking is automatic, so your main job is positioning. Move early when a hazard marker appears instead of waiting for it to land.

BUILD YOUR RUN

How level-ups and move evolution work

Experience turns into choices. A level-up can offer a new move, an upgrade for a move you already know, or a stat improvement. A focused build is easier to finish than several half-built ideas.

01

Pick a core move

Choose a reliable attack and invest in it before taking every new move. Area coverage or piercing can help when enemies gather in a crowd.

02

Check evolution conditions

Some moves can evolve after reaching their maximum level and meeting a linked upgrade condition. Watch for the evolution card when both parts are ready.

03

Use stat cards to fill gaps

Health, movement, damage, cooldown, and experience boosts solve different problems. If your damage is already strong, a movement or survival boost can make more room to play.

SURVIVAL TACTICS

Stay ahead of the horde

The arena gets harder when enemies cut off your routes. Keep a route open and treat movement as part of your build, not as time between attacks.

01

Move in wide curves

A broad loop can keep a group following behind you. Sharp turns into a crowded lane make it easier to get surrounded.

02

Read the ground markers

Some attacks show a line or circle before they land. Leave the marked area early; a last-second detour can run you into another group.

03

Prioritize dangerous enemies

Healers, shields, and enemies that call reinforcements change how a wave behaves. Clear the one disrupting your route before chasing safer targets.

ARENA EVENTS

Rifts, weather, and changing matchups

A run can bring more than a standard wave. Watch the map and the weather notice, then adjust your route and move choices to match the situation.

01

Prepare before entering a rift

A rift can take you to a contained legendary encounter. Make sure your build can handle the arena and leave room to dodge before you step in.

02

Respond to the current weather

Weather can strengthen some move types and weaken others. Read the on-screen message and switch your active move when another option fits better.

Co-op is not enabled here

The source game has online features, but this hosted adaptation currently disables online co-op and the source game’s account system.
